Facade Improvement Grant Deadline

The City of Greenville and Uptown Greenville once again offer Facade Improvement Grants

Event Summary

The City of Greenville and Uptown Greenville are once again offering Facade Improvement Grants to improve the facades of commercial structures in the downtown core also known as Uptown Greenville. 

• Owners and tenants of downtown commercial properties (all of Uptown as well as sections of Dickinson Avenue & Evans Street south of Reade Circle) are eligible to apply.
• Tenants must have the property owner sign the application and if selected the contract.
• Grant recipients are awarded dollar-for-dollar (matching reimbursements on expenditures up to $2,500 per building facade.

 

Applicants must attend individual pre-grant workshops at 201 W. First Street to learn about grant requirements and restrictions.  Applications are due by October 12, 2007.  For more information or to register for a workshop, please contact the Community Development Department at 252.329.4502 by September 21, 2007.
