Event Summary

Enjoy dining, shopping and strolling and carols in the street from the Brotherhood of Harmony in Uptown Greenville during a Holiday Celebration following the parade.

Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides 12 – 2 pm
Horse-drawn wagon rides will leave from the Merchants Lot located off Washington Street, across from GUC and City Hall, next to Dulcinea.  Two horses and a red wagon will carry up to 16 people at a time through Uptown Greenville.

Cost: $5/adults; $3/ages 12-3; Free children 2 and under.

WINDOW DECORATION CONTEST

Participate in the 2007 Uptown Window Decoration Contest. Participating Uptown Businesses are asked to have their decorations up by 5 pm on November 30th. The community is invited to vote for their favorite window between November 30-December 18. Each community voter will be entered into a drawing for gift cards from Uptown Greenville businesses. Currently there are over $200 in gift cards available. Prizes will also be awarded to businesses for 1st ($100), 2nd ($75) & 3rd ($50) place, and voting will be done by the public from November 30 through December 18.

Thanks to all of the participating businesses for providing gift cards for the contest. We have over $300 in gift cards entered in the drawing.

To vote and be entered into the gift card drawing:
Ballots will be available at the Uptown Greenville office, the Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade and at participating businesses, and may be submitted at the office (located at 301 S Evans Street, Suite 101, next to Café Europa).

To enter your business in the Window Decoration Contest:
E-mail denise@uptowngreenville.com no later than November 16 to be included on the ballot, web site and select promotional materials. If you would like to donate a gift certificate for the drawing please mention that in your e-mail and we will follow-up. Businesses who give gift certificates will receive additional promotion.
