Uptown Greenville is always looking for ways to improve the district.  The area is looking for developers to bring opportunites for non-student housing, a hotel and more.  Desired businesses that are discussed and hoped for also include a variety of unique businesses, a grocery store, a hardware store, specialty dining venues and more.  There is space and opportunity. Facade Improvement Grants: Owners of commercial properties and businesses within the city's historic Uptown commercial core are eligible to apply for up to $5,000 in grants per facade (or side of a building) to improve the exteriors of their properties and businesses.  Click here for details.

The Small Business Plan Competition provides incentives to small business owners and other entrepreneurs to create or expand businesses within the Center City and the West Greenville Redevelopment Area.  Click here for details.
