PirateFest
A Celebration for Pirates of All Ages!
PirateFest began in 2007 and is a large outdoor celebration offering food, fun, and entertainment for pirates of all ages! Kick-off the event with live music at the Buccaneer Bash Friday from 6-9pm. Events on Saturday include the International Festival, Uptown Arts Festival, Blackbeard’s Marketplace, Buccaneer Bash Main Stage & Grog Garden, Little Pirates Pavilion, and the Pirate Encampment. PirateFest offers three live music stages, and historical bus tours. Finish the night off with the headline band performance at the Buccaneer Bash Main Stage. Learn how to become a pirate at the school of pirate and be on the lookout for the roving pirate entertainers complete with sword fighting, black powder demonstrations, and more!

PIRATEFEST 2011
The 5th Annual PirateFest was held April 8 & 9 and was a great success thanks to our sponsors, participants and volunteers! We hope you had a great weekend in the Uptown District.
