Event Summary

PirateFest, presented by U.S. Cellular, will celebrate eastern North Carolina with its rich history steeped with famous pirates, including the infamous Blackbeard and Greenville’s own Pirates of East Carolina University. Events include the Alumni Association 5K and 1 mile Fun Run, the Uptown Arts Festival along Evans Street, the International Festival on the Town Commons and the Great Purple Gold Pigskin Pigout near the stadium. A large crowd is sure to gather to enjoy the weekend filled with a blend of both old and new festivities.
