June 22, 2008, Sunday In The Park will become Kids Summer Stock. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring cans of food to the Town Common for the 7 p.m. concert featuring the Summer Pops Orchestra. In exchange for three cans of food (or a donation of $1), people can get a chance to win prizes from a drawing that will be held during the concert.
Sunday In The Park is a free summertime concert series that is in its 35th year. It is held Sunday evenings in the Greenville Toyota Amphitheatre at the Greenville Town Common. Performances begin at 7 p.m. and last for about an hour. Admission is free.
