Five Points Plaza Public Input Session

Learn more and share your ideas!

Event Summary

Uptown Greenville invites the public to learn more about proposed improvements to the existing parking area located at 5th and Evans. This will be the public's opportunity to share ideas and discuss possible changes to create the proposed Five Points Plaza. Intitial suggestions for the area include a parking area that easily converts to an event space with additional canopy trees, some green space, a covered area and water and electricity. The Public forum will be facilitated by Kenny Flowers, ECU Director, Community & Regional Development.

Five Points Plaza Survey
Thanks to those of you who completed the Uptown Greenville Five Points Plaza Survey. There were over 236 respondents. The data from the survey was presented to the Redevelopment Commission January. We are currently interviewing firms to create a design for the space. There were 50 pairs of tickets distributed to winners of the survey drawing. Uptown Greenville thanks the ECU Athletic Ticket office for donating these tickets for the ECU vs. UTEP game on November 28th. We also thank ECU's Center for Survey Research for their time and assistance during the public input process, and thanks to you for taking time to share your thoughts.

Please call Uptown Greenville at 561.8400 for more information.
