Laurel for Public Plaza

The Daily Reflector gave Uptown Greenville a Laurel on August 9, 2008

Laurels — To the idea of locating a public plaza in downtown Greenville. The effort to establish an open-air, multi-use space at Fifth and Evans streets may be a positive, forward-thinking initiative. Uptown Greenville and city planners are to be commended for their work toward all efforts to bring more people into the downtown area, and better serve those who are there already.
