LET IT GLOW- WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR UPTOWN GREENVILLE STORE FRONT DECORATING COMPETITION
GREENVILLE, NC—Uptown Greenville is pleased to announce the winners of the 2018 Uptown Storefront Decorating Contest. With 20 entries, the stakes were higher than years’ past. Nearly 200 votes were cast. Join us in congratulating the 2018 Store Front Decorating Competition winners.
1st Place: Sup Dogs
2nd Place: Jenni K on Fifth
3rd: Sojourner
Storefronts were voted on by the public through an online voting tool hosted on Uptown Greenville’s social media platforms. Voters were encouraged to consider originality, light displays, and overall appearance. Each winner will receive a gift card to an Uptown merchant of their choice and bragging rights for the year.
The Uptown Greenville Storefront Decorating Contest is an initiative that encourages Uptown businesses to transform their brick-and-mortar establishments into glowing facades with light creations and winter wonderland displays to encourage people to visit Uptown during the holidays.
Many Uptown merchants created unique window displays incorporating holiday decorations, such as trees, snowmen, snowflakes, window art and most importantly…TWINKLING LIGHTS! These decorations will remain up throughout the holiday season for the public to enjoy.
Uptown Greenville thanks all of the participating merchants for making the Uptown district festive during the holiday season. Greenville residents, students, and visitors alike are encouraged to stop by participating businesses to view the festive décor and complete their holiday shopping in the coming weeks.
