SpazzFest Pitch Competition Saturday, 3/25 3pm– 6 pm | ECU Willis Building

GREENVILLE, NC-  Spazz Fest VIII will kick off with a Pitch Competition on Saturday, March 25 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at The Willis Building (300 East 1st  Street, Uptown Greenville, NC). Every business has a story to tell, and it is essential to be able to deliver a concise elevator pitch to investors, partners, and customers.

Local entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the SpazzFest Pitch Competition. This open venue event will provide an opportunity to pitch creative business ideas to the public for prizes and practice! The competition is open to anyone, and both individual and team entries are allowed. SpazzFest Pitch Competition entries are due by Wednesday, March 22nd. Finalists will be notified by Thursday, March 23rd, and will be invited to participate in the Pitch Competition Finals. All finalists must give a maximum, live 3-minute pitch of their business idea. Winners will be awarded cash prizes. This competition is a great opportunity to network and win money for your ideas using your communication skills.

All entries must answer these four key questions: 1) What is the problem you are trying to solve? 2) How are you solving the problem? 3) Who are you solving it for? 4) How is your solution different from what is already available? Competition Categories:Youth– High School or Younger, College– Open to any age college student at any business level, Open– Everybody at any stage of business. Presentations will be timed with a digital clock countdown for reference. No A/V equipment will be admitted. Prototypes and props are welcome.
